New Album Review: Lil Yachty "Lil Boat 3"

Scorching

Lil Yachty isn't here for fun anymore and with his album Lil Boat 3 he makes a serious case for the throne. The Atlanta rapper was introduced to the world in 2015 with "One Night". Because of how bubble gum that song was and his look many didn't take him serious in the industry even though he was going platinum. He would then show himself as not only a good music artist, but a good feature artist and song writer notoriously penning "Act Up" for the City Girls. Yet many still were wondering if Yachty was the real deal.

With songs like "Pardon Me" ft Future, "Top Down", "Split/Whole Time" and "T.D." on Lil Boat 3 I have no more questions. From beat selection to cadences to creative rhymes Yachty shows he is ready to take a shot of "Top Rapper in the Game". You get a taste of his creativity on "Oprah's Bank Account" sonically and visually. The biggest feather in his cap is his ability to work well with others in the industry. This album features Drake, Future, Asap Rocky, Tyler The Creator, Draft Day, Tierra Whack, Young Thug, Lil Kneed and Lil Durk. Clearly he's loved and respected by his peers which goes along way in the Rap Game.

"Demon Time", "Range Rover Sports Truck" and "Can't Go" are some sleepers that could turn into Club Favorites. Check Out the Full Album below
