She Came She Saw She Conquered
It's safe to say Atlanta Dream drafted a game changer when they selected Rhyne Howard with the Number 1 Pick out of the University of Kentucky. Now Howard has returned the favor with being named Rookie of the Year.
Rhyne led all rookies in scoring with 16 ppg and was named a WNBA All Star in her first year. Stacking awards is nothing new for the phenom who came out of college on fire with accolades like SEC Player of the Year 2x, All American 2x and more.
The Atlanta Dream sensation received 53 out of a total 56 votes from WNBA Media and Broadcast members, Howard also won every Rookie of the Month award from May to August. We believe Rhyne Howard has the potential to become the Lebron James of WNBA but only time will tell.
Either way she's off to an Amazing Start
